The EMEA Legal Department, consisting of nineteen highly qualified lawyers in eight countries, provides and coordinates legal services for all our group companies in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. We have a vacant position in Düsseldorf with a particular focus on our growing medical systems business and are looking for an experienced

Zweck der Stelle

Within our team, you will comprehensively advise and support designated Fujifilm companies and businesses in Germany and abroad. You will directly report to the responsible Regional Counsel based in Düsseldorf.


  • Handling legal affairs of German and European medical systems business divisions on a large variety of legal issues including commercial, contract, corporate, litigation and medical device laws;
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements and other legal documentation and providing day-to-day legal advice on a wide range of areas, such as sales and distribution, supply, commercial, services, and regulatory matters;
  • Handling legal matters related to mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions, including corporate housekeeping matters, reorganizations and coordinating corresponding projects;
  • Managing disputes and litigation by or against FUJIFILM;
  • Developing and delivering training to business divisions on a variety of legal and compliance-related areas.


You have a high calibre German professional legal background, practical experience in a law firm and/or multinational corporation and are familiar with international legal systems and commercial practices. You offer:

  • 3-6 years professional experience in corporate and commercial law (including multi-jurisdictional and cross-border transactional experience).
  • high degree of professionalism to excel in an international environment and the ability to work proactively and under pressure;
  • excellent communication skills. English legal, written and conversational fluency is required. Proficiency in another European language is a plus;
  • team spirit and cross-cultural awareness.
